Work as Worship

Paul wrote these words to servants — people whose work was often unseen and unappreciated. He told them to work heartily, as to the Lord.

Your work — in an office, a market, a classroom, a hospital or at home with small children — is not separate from your faith. It can be worship.

When we work for the Lord, we do not need applause to keep going. Before you start today, dedicate your work to God, and do one task with extra care and joy as a gift to him.
