The Substance of Faith

Faith is not wishful thinking. Hebrews calls it substance and evidence — something solid you can stand on.

Noah built an ark before the rain came. Abraham left home without knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11 is full of ordinary people who trusted God’s word more than what they could see.

Your faith does not need to be big; it needs to be placed in a big God. Write down one promise of God today, and thank him for it as if you have already seen it fulfilled.
